There are four volunteer opportunities to support the Foundation and the Reserve. Click here for questions.

Foundation Volunteer
Contact volunteer@srpnef.org – Consider joining our large family of volunteers! The Foundation is the only recognized fundraising arm for the Reserve to support, sustain and grow the children’s nature education programs. All students can participate in SRPF programs at NO COST TO THEM. Therefore we are engaged in a variety of fundraising events and activities; we have an active Board of Directors an Advisory Council, and a wide variety of volunteer needs from marketing and mailings to event production. Review the PDF Volunteer Application for more details. We hope you’ll complete the form and either mail it to us at P.O. Box 941, Murrieta, CA 92564 or drop it off at the Reserve Visitor Center. Our volunteer coordinator will contact you immediately.

Become a Docent
Contact programs@santarosaplateau.org – The primary role of a Docent is to support interpreter and site staff in operation of natural science and historical interpretive programs. The following Docent positions are available at the Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve:

  • Third Grade Trail
  • Third Grade Outreach
  • Heritage Hosts
  • Visitor Center Information
  • Trailhead (Spring time)

Trail Maintenance
Contact maryruthjohnson@rivcoparks.org – Primary role is to serve on the maintenance crew to assist the RivCoParks Maintenance Coordinator. Activities can include but are not limited to maintain trails and public areas.

Team Stream
hlaskey@cnlm.org
